English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The Children of Israel used to bathe naked and look at one another's private parts, but Musa (peace be upon him) used to bathe alone. The people said: Musa (peace be upon him) does not bathe with us because he has a scrotal hernia (that is, an enlargement of the testicles). Once Musa (peace be upon him) went to bathe and placed his clothes on a stone, and the stone ran off with his clothes (by itself, by Allah's command). Musa (peace be upon him) ran after it saying: O stone, my clothes! O stone, my clothes! until the Children of Israel saw his private parts and said: By Allah! He has no defect. At that point the stone stood still and he was seen clearly. Then he took his clothes and (in anger) began to strike the stone." Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: By Allah! There are six or seven marks on that stone from the blows of Musa (peace be upon him).
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ محمد رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ بنی اسرائیل کے لوگ ننگے نہایا کرتے اور ایک دوسرے کے ستر کو دیکھا کرتے تھے۔ اور سیدنا موسیٰ علیہ السلام اکیلے نہاتے تھے۔ لوگوں نے کہا کہ موسیٰ علیہ السلام ہمارے ساتھ مل کر اس لئے نہیں نہاتے کہ ان کو تو فتق کی بیماری ہے (یعنی خصیے بڑھ جانے کی)۔ ایک دفعہ سیدنا موسیٰ علیہ السلام نہانے کو گئے اور کپڑے اتار کر ایک پتھر پر رکھے، تو پتھر (خودبخود اللہ کے حکم سے) ان کے کپڑے لیکر بھاگ کھڑا ہوا۔ سیدنا موسیٰ علیہ السلام اس کے پیچھے دوڑے اور کہتے جاتے کہ اے پتھر میرے کپڑے دے، اے پتھر میرے کپڑے دے! یہاں تک کہ بنی اسرائیل نے ان کا ستر دیکھ لیا اور کہنے لگے کہ اللہ کی قسم! ان کو تو کوئی بیماری نہیں ہے۔ اس وقت پتھر کھڑا ہو گیا اور انہیں خوب دیکھا گیا۔ پھر انہوں نے اپنے کپڑے اٹھائے اور (غصے سے) پتھر کو مارنا شروع کیا۔ سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ اللہ کی قسم! اس پتھر پر سیدنا موسیٰ علیہ السلام کی چھ یا سات ماروں کا نشان ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 158]
