English Translation
Narrated Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): I never saw anyone more compassionate towards children than the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). His son Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him) was being nursed in the outlying areas (Awali) of Madinah (there were some villages near Madinah). He would go there and we would be with him, and he would enter the house, where there was smoke, because the husband of the wet-nurse was a blacksmith. He would take the child, kiss him, and then return. Amr said that when Ibrahim passed away, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Ibrahim is my son, and he died while still nursing. Now he has two wet-nurses in Paradise who will suckle him for the remainder of his nursing period." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1578]

سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے کسی کو بچوں پر اتنی شفقت کرتے نہیں دیکھا، جتنی رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکرتے تھے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے صاحبزادے سیدنا ابراہیم (مدینہ کے عوالی میں) دودھ پیتے تھے (عوالی مدینہ کے پاس کچھ گاؤں تھے) آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجایا کرتے اور ہم آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ ہوتے، پھر اس کے گھر تشریف لے جاتے، وہاں دھواں ہوتا تھا کیونکہ”انّا“کا خاوند لوہار تھا۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمبچے کو لیتے، پیار کرتے اور پھر لوٹ آتے۔ عمرو نے کہا کہ جب سیدنا ابراہیم نے وفات پائی تو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ ابراہیم میرا بیٹا ہے، اس نے دودھ پیتے میں وفات پائی اب اس کو دو انّائیں (دائیاں) ملی ہیں جو جنت میں اس کے دودھ پینے کی مدت تک دودھ پلائیں گی۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1578]
