English Translation
Jarir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Some Bedouins wearing woolen garments came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). He saw their poor condition and how needy they were. He urged the people to give in charity, but they were slow. Displeasure showed on his face. Then a man from the Ansar came with a bundle of silver, then another came, then others followed. His face brightened. He said: 'Whoever introduces a good practice in Islam will have its reward and the reward of all who act upon it, without diminishing their rewards. And whoever introduces an evil practice will bear its sin and the sin of all who act upon it, without diminishing their sins.'"
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہمیں ایک دن رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس گیا، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو بخار تھا۔ میں نے عرض کیا کہ یا رسول اللہ! آپ کو تو سخت بخار آتا ہے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ مجھے اتنا بخار آتا ہے جتنا تم میں سے دو آدمیوں کو آئے۔ میں نے کہا کہ کیا یہ اس لئے ہے کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے لئے دہرا اجر ہے؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: ہاں۔ پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ کوئی مسلمان ایسا نہیں جس کو بیماری یا کچھ اور تکلیف پہنچی، مگر یہ کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے گناہ ایسے گرا دیتا ہے جیسے درخت (سوکھے) پتے گرا دیتا ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1463]
