English Translation
Asma' bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that a woman came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! My daughter is a bride and has lost her hair due to measles. Can I attach artificial hair to her head?" The Prophet said: "Allah has cursed the one who attaches hair extensions and the one who has them attached."
Urdu Translation
سیدہ اسماء بنت ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتی ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس ایک عورت آئی اور عرض کیا کہ یا رسول اللہ! میری بیٹی دلہن بنی ہے اور خسرہ کی بیماری سے اس کے بال گر گئے ہیں، تو کیا میں اس کے بالوں میں جوڑ لگا دوں؟ (یعنی مصنوعی بال وغیرہ جو بازار میں ملتے ہیں) آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے (بالوں میں) جوڑ لگانے اور لگوانے والی پر لعنت کی ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1383]
