English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came to the graveyard and said: "Peace be upon you, this abode of a believing people, and if Allah wills, we will join you. I wish that we could see our brothers" (from this hadith it is learned that wishing for a good thing is permissible, such as meeting the scholars and virtuous ones). The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) said: "O Messenger of Allah! Are we not your brothers?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "You are my Companions, and our brothers are those who have not yet come into the world." The Companions said: "O Messenger of Allah! How will you recognize those of your ummah whom you have never seen?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Tell me, if one of you had horses with white foreheads and white legs among jet-black horses, would he not recognize his own horses?" The Companions said: "Certainly he would recognize them." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, the people of my ummah will have white faces and white hands and feet because of ablution, and I will be their forerunner at the Pool of Kawthar. Beware that some people will be driven away from my Pool as a stray camel is driven away. I will call them: Come, come. At that time it will be said: These people changed and altered things after you (or their state changed, and they fell into innovation and injustice). Then I will say: Go away, be gone. Go away, be gone."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمقبرستان میں تشریف لائے تو فرمایا”سلام ہے تم پر یہ گھر ہے مسلمانوں کا اور اللہ نے چاہا تو ہم بھی تم سے ملنے والے ہیں۔ میری آرزو ہے کہ ہم اپنے بھائیوں کو دیکھیں“(اس حدیث سے معلوم ہوا کہ نیک بات کی آرزو کرنا درست ہے جیسے علماء اور فضلاء سے ملنے کی) صحابہ کرام رضوان اللہ علیہم اجمعین نے عرض کیا کہ یا رسول اللہ! کیا ہم آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) کے بھائی نہیں ہیں؟ تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ تم تو میرے اصحاب ہو اور بھائی ہمارے وہ لوگ ہیں جو ابھی دنیا میں نہیں آئے۔ صحابہ نے عرض کیا کہ یا رسول اللہ! آپ اپنی امت کے ان لوگوں کو کیسے پہچانیں گے جن کو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے دیکھا ہی نہیں؟ تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا بھلا تم میں سے کسی کے سفید پیشانی، سفید ہاتھ پاؤں والے گھوڑے سیاہ مشکی گھوڑوں میں مل جائیں، تو وہ اپنے گھوڑے نہیں پہچانے گا؟ صحابہ نے عرض کیا کہ بیشک وہ تو پہچان لے گا۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ قیامت کے دن وضو کی وجہ سے میری امت کے لوگ سفید منہ اور سفید ہاتھ پاؤں رکھتے ہوں گے اور حوض کوثر پر میں ان کا پیش خیمہ ہوں گا۔ خبردار رہو کہ بعض لوگ میرے حوض پر سے ہٹائے جائیں گے جیسے بھٹکا ہوا اونٹ ہنکایا جاتا ہے۔ میں ان کو پکاروں گا آؤ آؤ۔ اس وقت کہا جائے گا کہ ان لوگوں نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے بعد رد و بدل کر لیا تھا (یا ان کی حالت بدل گئی تھی، بدعت اور ظلم میں گرفتار ہو گئے تھے)۔ تب میں کہوں گا کہ جاؤ دور ہو جاؤ۔ جاؤ دور ہو جاؤ۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 128]
