English Translation
Narrated Sahl bin Hunayf (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever asks Allah for martyrdom sincerely, Allah the Exalted will grant him the rank of the martyrs, even if he dies upon his bed." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1078]
Urdu Translation
سیدنا سہل بن حنیف رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: جو شخص اللہ سے سچائی کے ساتھ شہادت مانگے گا تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کو شہیدوں کا درجہ دے گا اگرچہ وہ اپنے بچھونے پر ہی فوت ہو۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1078]
