English Translation
Ubadah bin as-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) says: When revelation descended upon the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), he would feel difficulty and the color of dust would come upon his blessed face. He says: One day revelation descended upon him and he felt such difficulty. When the revelation ceased, he said: "Learn from me: Allah has made a way for women (in punishment). If a married person commits adultery with a married person, and an unmarried person with an unmarried person, then the married person is to be given a hundred (100) lashes and then stoned to death, and the unmarried person is to be given a hundred (100) lashes and banished from the homeland for one year." Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبادہ بن صامت رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمپر جب وحی اترتی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو سختی معلوم ہوتی اور چہرہ مبارک پر مٹی کا رنگ آ جاتا۔ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک دن آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمپر وحی اتری اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو ایسی ہی سختی معلوم ہوئی۔ جب وحی موقوف ہو گئی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ مجھ سے سیکھ لو اللہ تعالیٰ نے عورتوں کے لئے راستہ کر دیا۔ اگر شادی شدہ، شادی شدہ سے زنا کرے اور غیر شادی شدہ، غیر شادی شدہ سے زنا کرے تو شادی شدہ کو سو (100) کوڑے لگا کر سنگسار کر دیں اور غیر شادی شدہ کو سو (100) کوڑے لگا کر ایک سال تک وطن سے باہر نکال دیں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1036]
