English Translation
It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that eight men of (the tribe of) Ukl came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and gave him allegiance upon Islam. Then the air of (Madinah) did not agree with them and their bodies fell ill. They complained to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he said: "Why do you not go out with our herdsman among the camels, so that you may drink their milk and urine?" They said: "Very well." Then they went out and drank the urine and milk of the she-camels and recovered. Then they killed the herdsman and drove off the camels. This news reached the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he sent a party after them. They were brought back captured, and by his order their hands and feet were cut off and their eyes were gouged out with a heated iron, then they were left out in the sun until they died. Urdu Translation
سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہعکل (قبیلہ عکل) کے آٹھ آدمی رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس آئے اور آپ اسے اسلام پر بیعت کی۔ پھر ان کو (مدینہ کی) ہوا ناموافق ہو گئی اور ان کے بدن بیمار ہو گئے۔ انہوں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے شکایت کی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ کیا تم ہمارے چرواہے کے ساتھ اونٹوں میں نہیں چلے جاتے کہ (وہاں) ان کا دودھ اور پیشاب پیو؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ اچھا۔ پھر وہ نکلے اور اونٹنیوں کا پیشاب اور دودھ پیا اور ٹھیک ہو گئے، تو انہوں نے چرواہے کو قتل کیا اور اونٹ بھگا لے گئے۔ یہ خبر رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو پہنچی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ان کے پیچھے جماعت بھیجی۔ وہ گرفتار کر کے لائے گئے تو آپ کے حکم سے ان کے ہاتھ پاؤں کاٹے گئے اور آنکھیں سلائی سے پھوڑ دی گئیں پھر دھوپ میں ڈال دئیے کئے یہاں تک کہ مر گئے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1024]
