Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِهِمْ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ " مِنْ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ يَهُودِيًّا أَوْ نَصْرَانِيًّا " .
English Translation
Thabit narrated from Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him), who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated... (then he mentioned the like of the previous narrators' hadith), except that he said: than returning to being a Jew or a Christian.
Urdu Translation
ثابت نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی، انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا... (پھر اسی طرح بیان کیا) جیسے سابقہ راویوں نے بیان کیا ہے، البتہ انہوں نے یہ الفاظ کہے: اس کو پھر سے یہودی یا عیسائی ہو جانے سے (آگ میں ڈالا جانا زیادہ پسند ہو)۔
