Arabic (Original)
وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ نَسِيَ صَلاَةً أَوْ نَامَ عَنْهَا فَكَفَّارَتُهَا أَنْ يُصَلِّيَهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا " .
English Translation
Hadrat Sa'id narrated from Qatadah, from Hadrat Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be well pleased with him), who said: the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: 'Whoever forgets a prayer, or slept through it (and it was omitted), its expiation is only that he should observe it when he remembers it.'
Urdu Translation
سعید نے قتادہ سے اور انھوں نے حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے حدیث سنائی، فرمایا: اللہ کے نبی صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ''جو شخص کوئی نماز بھول گیا یا اسے ادا کرتے وقت سوتا رہ گیا تو اس (نماز) کا کفارہ یہی ہے کہ جب اسے یاد آئے وہ اس نماز کو پڑھ لے۔''
