Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، وَحَرْمَلَةُ، قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " بُعِثْتُ بِجَوَامِعِ الْكَلِمِ وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ وَبَيْنَا أَنَا نَائِمٌ أُتِيتُ بِمَفَاتِيحِ خَزَائِنِ الأَرْضِ فَوُضِعَتْ فِي يَدَىَّ " . قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْتَثِلُونَهَا .
English Translation
Hadrat Yunus narrated from Ibn Shihab, who narrated from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, who narrated from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: 'I have been sent with words which are concise but comprehensive in meaning, and I have been aided through awe. While I was asleep, the keys of the treasures of the earth were brought to me and placed in my hands.' Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) has departed to his Lord, and you are now extracting those treasures.
Urdu Translation
یونس نے ابن شہاب سے، انہوں نے سعید بن مسیب سے اور انہوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ''مجھے جامع کلمات دے کر بھیجا گیا ہے اور رعب کے ذریعے میری نصرت کی گئی ہے، میں نیند کے عالم میں تھا کہ زمین کے خزانوں کی کنجیاں میرے پاس لا کر میرے ہاتھوں میں رکھ دی گئیں۔'' حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم تو اپنے رب کے پاس جا چکے ہیں اور تم ان خزانوں کو کھود کر نکال رہے ہو۔
