حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي صَلاَتَهُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ كُلَّهَا وَأَنَا مُعْتَرِضَةٌ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُوتِرَ أَيْقَظَنِي فَأَوْتَرْتُ .
English Translation
Hadrat Hisham narrated from his father 'Urwah, who narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat 'A'ishah (may Allah be well pleased with her), who said: The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to offer his entire night prayer while I lay between him and the qibla. When he intended to pray the Witr, he would awaken me and I too would pray the Witr.
Urdu Translation
ہشام نے اپنے والد عروہ سے اور انہوں نے حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت کی، انہوں نے کہا: نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم رات کو اپنی پوری نماز پڑھتے اور میں آپ کے اور قبلے کے درمیان لیٹی ہوتی تھی اور جب آپ وتر پڑھنا چاہتے، مجھے جگا دیتے تو میں بھی وتر پڑھ لیتی۔
