Arabic (Original)
وَعَن ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَرَأَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ سَجْدَةً فَسَجَدَ النَّاسُ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْهُمُ الرَّاكِبُ وَالسَّاجِدُ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ حَتَّى إِنَّ الرَّاكِبَ لَيَسْجُدُ عَلَى يَده. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
English Translation
He said that in the year of the Conquest* the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) recited a verse at which a prostration should be made and all the people prostrated themselves. Some were mounted, some were prostrating themselves on the ground, and those who were mounted prostrated themselves on their hands. * i.e. the Conquest of Mecca in 8 A.H. Abu Dawud transmitted it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فتح مکہ کے سال سجدے کی آیت پڑھی تو سب لوگوں نے سجدہ کیا، کچھ سواری پر تھے اور کچھ زمین پر سجدہ کر رہے تھے، حتیٰ کہ سواری پر بیٹھے ہوئے لوگوں نے اپنے ہاتھوں پر سجدہ کیا۔ (حضرت ابوداؤد)
