Arabic (Original)
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَجَدَ فِي صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَرَكَعَ فَرَأَوْا أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ تَنْزِيلَ السَّجْدَةَ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn ‘Umar said that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) made a prostration in the noon prayer, then stood up and bowed; and they thought he recite Tanzil, i.e. sura as-Sajda (Al-Qur’an; 32). Abu Dawud transmitted it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ظہر کی نماز میں سجدۂ تلاوت کیا پھر کھڑے ہوئے اور رکوع کیا۔ لوگوں نے سمجھا کہ آپ نے سورۂ تنزیل السجدہ پڑھی تھی۔ (حضرت ابوداؤد)
