Arabic (Original)
وَعَن عمرَان بن حُصَيْن قَالَ: مَاتَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَكْرَهُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَحْيَاءٍ: ثَقِيفٌ وَبَنِي حَنِيفَةَ وَبَنِي أُمَيَّةَ. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَقَالَ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيب
English Translation
Al-'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Indeed Allah created the creation and placed me among the best of them, then among the best of the two groups, then He chose the tribes and placed me in the best tribe, then He chose families and placed me in the best family. So I am the best of them in person and the best of them in family." Reported by Tirmidhi.
Urdu Translation
عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے وفات پائی تو وہ تین قبیلوں کو ناپسند فرماتے تھے، ثقیف، بنو حنیفہ اور بنو امیہ۔ ترمذی، اور فرمایا: یہ حدیث غریب ہے۔ اسنادہ ضعیف، رواہ الترمذی۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب المناقب/حدیث: 5992]
