وَعَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَجَارَكُمْ مِنْ ثَلَاثِ خِلَالٍ: أَنْ لَا يَدْعُوَ عَلَيْكُمْ نَبِيُّكُمْ فَتَهْلَكُوا جَمِيعًا وَأَنْ لَا يُظْهِرَ أَهْلَ الْبَاطِلِ على أهلِ الحقِّ وَأَن لَا تجتمِعوا على ضَلَالَة. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
English Translation
Abu Malik al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has granted you protection from three things: that your Prophet will not invoke a curse upon you that would destroy you all; that the people of falsehood will not prevail over the people of truth; and that you will not all unite upon misguidance." Narrated by Abu Dawud.
Urdu Translation
ابومالک اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا:”اللہ عزوجل نے تمہیں تین چیزوں سے محفوظ رکھا ہے، تمہارا نبی تمہارے لیے یہ بددعا نہیں کرے گا کہ تم سب ہلاک ہو جاؤ، اہل باطل، اہل حق پر غالب نہیں ہوں گے، اور تم گمراہی پر اکٹھے نہیں ہو گے۔“اسنادہ ضعیف، رواہ ابوداؤد۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب الفضائل والشمائل/حدیث: 5755]
