وَعَن عُثْمَان بن عَفَّان قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ سَرِيرَةٌ صَالِحَةً أَوْ سَيِّئَةً أَظْهَرَ اللَّهُ مِنْهَا رِدَاءً يُعْرَفُ بِهِ»
English Translation
Ubadah ibn al-Samit reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him; and whoever dislikes to meet Allah, Allah dislikes to meet him." A'ishah — or one of his wives — said: "But we all dislike death." He said: "It is not about that. Rather, when the believer is given the glad tidings of Allah's mercy, His pleasure, and His Paradise, he loves to meet Allah and Allah loves to meet him. But when the disbeliever is given the tidings of Allah's punishment and His wrath, he dislikes to meet Allah and Allah dislikes to meet him." Agreed upon.

عثمان بن عفان رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا:”جس شخص کی کوئی نیک یا بد خصلت چھپی ہوئی ہو تو اللہ اس سے کوئی علامت ظاہر فرما دے گا جس سے وہ پہچانا جائے گا۔“اسنادہ ضعیف جذا، رواہ البیھقی فی شعب الایمان۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب الرقاق/حدیث: 5336]
