وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ قَالَ: إِذَا مَاتَ الْمَيِّتُ قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ: مَا قَدَّمَ؟ وَقَالَ بَنُو آدَمَ: مَا خَلَّفَ؟ «. رَوَاهُ الْبَيْهَقِيّ فِي»شعب الْإِيمَان
English Translation
Hakim ibn Hizam reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The upper hand is better than the lower hand. Start with those under your care. The best charity is that given out of surplus wealth. Whoever seeks self-sufficiency, Allah will make him self-sufficient. Whoever seeks patience, Allah will grant him patience." Agreed upon.
Urdu Translation
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ مرفوع روایت کرتے ہیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا:”جب فوت ہونے والا فوت ہوتا ہے تو فرشتے کہتے ہیں: اس نے (اعمال میں سے) آگے کیا بھیجا ہے؟ اور انسان کہتے ہیں، اس نے (مال میں سے) پیچھے کیا چھوڑا ہے؟“اسنادہ ضعیف، رواہ البیھقی فی شعب الایمان۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب الرقاق/حدیث: 5219]
