وَعَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ وَهْبٌ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ؟ كُلُّ ضَعِيفٍ مُتَضَعِّفٍ لَوْ أَقْسَمَ عَلَى اللَّهِ لَأَبَرَّهُ. أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِأَهْلِ النَّارِ؟ كُلُّ عُتُلٍّ جَوَّاظٍ مُسْتَكْبِرٍ». مُتَّفق عَلَيْهِ. وَفِي رِوَايَة مُسلم: «كل جواظ زنيم متكبر»
English Translation
Harithah ibn Wahb reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "Shall I not tell you about the people of Paradise? Every weak and humble person — if he were to swear by Allah, Allah would fulfill his oath. Shall I not tell you about the people of the Fire? Every harsh, stingy, and arrogant person." In another narration from Abu Hurairah from the Prophet: "The weak and oppressed one whom people look down upon."
Urdu Translation
حارثہ بن وہب رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا:”کیا میں تمہیں جنتیوں کے بارے میں نہ بتاؤں؟ ہر ضعیف شخص کہ لوگ اسے ضعیف و ناتواں سمجھیں اگر وہ اللہ پر قسم اٹھا لے تو وہ اسے پورا فرما دے۔ کیا میں تمہیں جہنمیوں کے بارے میں نہ بتاؤں؟ ہر سرکش، بخیل اور متکبر۔“اور مسلم کی روایت میں ہے:”ہر بخیل، کمینہ اور متکبر شخص۔“متفق علیہ۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب الآداب/حدیث: 5106]
