Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَتَزَعْفَرَ الرَّجُلُ
English Translation
Hadrat Anas said the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade men to use saffron. (Mirqat, iv, 461, says this applies to their clothing and their bodies, as it is a female custom but does not prohibit a small use of it.) (Bukhari and Muslim.)
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے مردوں کو زعفران لگانے سے منع فرمایا۔ بخاری و مسلم نے روایت کیا۔
