Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: غَزَوْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ فَأَتَتِ الْيَهُودُ فَشَكَوْا أَنَّ النَّاسَ قَدْ أَسْرَعُوا إِلَى خَضَائِرِهِمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَلَا لَا يَحِلُّ أَمْوَالُ المعاهِدينَ إِلاَّ بحقِّها» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
English Translation
He said that he went with the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) to fight at the battle of Khaibar and the Jews came and complained that the people had hastened to take their green dates, 2 so God’s messenger said, ''The property of those who have been given a covenant is not lawful except for the dues which are levied." 2. The reference is to dates which fall from the tree while still green. Abu Dawud transmitted it.
Urdu Translation
انہی سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ خیبر میں غزوہ کیا۔ یہودی آئے اور شکایت کی کہ لوگوں نے ہمارے کچے پھلوں پر دھاوا بول دیا ہے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: خبردار! معاہدین کے مال ان کے حق کے بغیر حلال نہیں۔ (حضرت ابوداؤد)
