Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ أَكْلِ الْهِرَّةِ وَأَكْلِ ثَمَنِهَا. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ
English Translation
Hadrat Jabir said the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade eating cats or what is paid for them. 1 1. This might be either what was paid in kind, or what was bought with money paid for them. Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi transmitted it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے بلی کھانے اور اس کی قیمت کھانے سے منع فرمایا۔ (حضرت ابوداؤد اور ترمذی)
