عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَصَبَ الْمَنْجَنِيقَ عَلَى أَهْلِ الطائفِ. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ مُرْسلا
English Translation
Thauban b. Yazid told that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) set up the ballista when attacking the people of at-Ta’if. Tirmidhi transmitted it in mursal form.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ثوبان بن یزید سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اہل طائف کے خلاف منجنیق نصب فرمائی۔ ترمذی نے مرسلاً روایت کیا۔
