وَعَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَقْدَمُ مِنْ سَفَرٍ إِلَّا نَهَارًا فِي الضُّحَى فَإِذَا قَدِمَ بَدَأَ بِالْمَسْجِدِ فَصَلَّى فِيهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثمَّ جلس فِيهِ للنَّاس
English Translation
Hadrat Ka'b b. Malik said that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to arrive from a journey only in the daytime during the forenoon, and that when he arrived he went first to the mosque where he prayed two rak'as, after which he sat in it and gave audience to the people. (Bukhari and Muslim.)
Urdu Translation
حضرت کعب بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سفر سے صرف دن میں چاشت کے وقت تشریف لاتے تھے اور جب تشریف لاتے تو پہلے مسجد میں جاتے اور دو رکعت نماز پڑھتے پھر لوگوں کے لیے بیٹھتے۔ (بخاری و مسلم)
