Arabic (Original)
وَعَن ابنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَ: بَعَثَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَدَّهُ أَبَا مُوسَى وَمُعَاذًا إِلَى الْيَمَنِ فَقَالَ: «يَسِّرَا وَلَا تُعَسِّرَا وَبَشِّرَا وَلَا تُنَفِّرَا وَتَطَاوَعَا وَلَا تَخْتَلِفَا»
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Burda* told that when the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) sent his grandfather Hadrat Abu Musa and Hadrat Mu'adh to the Yemen he said, “Make things easy and do not make them difficult; gladden and do not scare; comply with one another and do not disagree.” (Bukhari and Muslim.) * This should be Sa'id b. Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن ابی بردہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ان کے دادا حضرت ابو موسیٰ اور حضرت معاذ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما کو یمن بھیجا تو فرمایا: آسانی کرو سختی نہ کرو، خوشخبری دو نفرت نہ دلاؤ، اتفاق کرو اور اختلاف نہ کرو۔ (بخاری و مسلم)
