Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَرْقُدُ مِنْ لَيْلٍ وَلَا نَهَارٍ فَيَسْتَيْقِظُ إِلَّا يَتَسَوَّكُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ. رَوَاهُ أَحْمد وَأَبُو دَاوُد
English Translation
Hadrat ‘A'isha said that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did not awake after sleeping by night or by day without using the tooth-stick before performing ablution. Ahmad and Abu Dawud transmitted it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم رات ہو یا دن، نیند سے بیدار ہونے کے بعد وضو سے پہلے مسواک ضرور فرماتے۔ (احمد، ابو داؤد)
