وَعَن مُعَاوِيَة بن أبي سُفْيَان أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: قَالَ: «إِنَّمَا الْعَيْنَانِ وِكَاءُ السَّهِ فَإِذَا نَامَتِ الْعَيْنُ اسْتطْلقَ الوكاء» . رَوَاهُ الدِّرَامِي
English Translation
Mu'awiya b. Abu Sufyan reported the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) as saying, “The eyes are the leather strap of the anus, and when the eye sleeps the leather strap is loosened.” Darimi transmitted it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت معاویہ بن ابی سفیان رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: آنکھیں مقعد کا بندھن ہیں، جب آنکھ سو جائے تو بندھن کھل جاتا ہے۔ (دارمی)
