وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَن بَيْعِ حَبَلِ الْحَبَلَةِ وَكَانَ بَيْعًا يَتَبَايَعُهُ أَهْلُ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ كَانَ الرَّجُلُ يَبْتَاعُ الْجَزُورَ إِلَى أَنْ تُنتَجَ النَّاقةُ ثمَّ تُنتَجُ الَّتِي فِي بطنِها
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn ‘Umar said that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade the transaction called habal al-habala which was one entered into in pre-Islamic times, whereby a man bought a she-camel which was to be the offspring of a she-camel which was still in its mother’s womb. (Bukhari and Muslim.)
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے حَبَل الحَبَلہ کی بیع سے منع فرمایا۔ یہ اہلِ جاہلیت کی بیع تھی کہ آدمی اونٹنی خریدتا اس شرط پر کہ قیمت اس وقت ادا ہوگی جب اونٹنی بچہ جنے پھر وہ بچہ بچہ جنے۔ (بخاری و مسلم)
