وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ جِهَادٌ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ عَلَيْهِنَّ جِهَادٌ لَا قِتَالَ فِيهِ: الْحَجُّ وَالْعُمْرَةُ ". رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَه
English Translation
‘A’isha said that she asked God’s messenger whether jihad was incumbent on women, and he replied, “Yes, jihad which does not include fighting is incumbent on them. It is the hajj and the ‘umra.” Ibn Majah transmitted it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! کیا عورتوں پر جہاد ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ہاں، ان پر ایسا جہاد ہے جس میں لڑائی نہیں: حج اور عمرہ۔ (ابن ماجہ)
