Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ مِائَتَيْ مَرَّةٍ (قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ) مُحِيَ عَنْهُ ذُنُوبُ خَمْسِينَ سَنَةً إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ عَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ وَالدَّارِمِيُّ وَفِي رِوَايَتِهِ «خَمْسِينَ مَرَّةٍ» وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ «إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ عَلَيْهِ دين»
English Translation
Hadrat Anas reported the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) as saying, 'If anyone recites two hundred times daily, ‘Say, He is God, One’, the sins of fifty years will be wiped out, unless he is in debt.” Tirmidhī and Dārimī transmitted it. The latter’s version has “fifty times”, and he did not mention “unless he is in debt.”
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں: جو ہر روز دو سو بار قُلْ هُوَ اللّٰهُ أَحَدٌ پڑھے، اس سے پچاس سال کے گناہ معاف ہو جائیں گے، مگر جب اس پر قرض ہو۔ (ترمذی و دارمی، دارمی کی روایت میں 'پچاس مرتبہ' ہے اور 'مگر جب اس پر قرض ہو' کا ذکر نہیں)
