Arabic (Original)
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَوْلَا مَا فِي الْبُيُوتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالذُّرِّيَّةِ أَقَمْتُ صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ وَأَمَرْتُ فِتْيَانِي يُحْرِقُونَ مَا فِي الْبُيُوتِ بِالنَّارِ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Huraira reported the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) as saying, “Were it not for the women and children who are in the houses I would make the evening prayer congregational and command my young men to burn what is in the houses with fire.” Ahmad transmitted it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: اگر گھروں میں عورتیں اور بچے نہ ہوتے تو میں عشاء کی نماز کھڑی کرتا اور اپنے جوانوں کو حکم دیتا کہ ان لوگوں کے گھروں کو آگ لگا دیں جو نماز میں نہیں آتے۔ (احمد)
