1311 صحيح حديث ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: لاَ تَتْرُكُوا النَّارَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ حِينَ تَنَامُونَ
English Translation
Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Cover the vessels, tie the mouths of water skins, close the doors, and extinguish the lamps, for indeed Satan does not open a tied water skin, nor open a closed door, nor uncover a covered vessel. If one of you cannot find anything except a stick to place across his vessel while mentioning the name of Allah, let him do so. And the mouse may set fire to the house and burn its occupants."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما بیان کرتے ہیں کہ حضور اکرمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”جب سونے لگو تو گھر میں آگ نہ چھوڑو۔“[اللؤلؤ والمرجان/كتاب الأشربة/حدیث: 1311]
