1251 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: السَّفَرُ قِطْعَةٌ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ، يَمْنَعُ أَحَدَكُمْ طَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ وَنَوْمَهُ، فَإِذَا قَضى نَهْمَتَهُ فَلْيُعَجِّلْ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "My example and the example of the people is that of a man who kindled a fire, and when it illuminated what was around him, moths and creatures began falling into the fire. He began trying to prevent them, but they overcame him and plunged into it. I am seizing your waistbands to save you from the Fire, but you are slipping from my hands."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”سفر عذاب کا ایک ٹکڑا ہے، یہ آدمی کو کھانے، پینے اور سونے (ہر ایک چیز) سے روک دیتا ہے، اس لیے جب کوئی اپنی ضرورت پوری کر چکے تو وہ فوراً گھر واپس آ جائے۔“[اللؤلؤ والمرجان/كتاب الإمارة/حدیث: 1251]
