1218 صحيح حديث مُجَاشِعِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَأَبِي مَعْبَدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيّ، عَنْ مُجَاشِعِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: انْطَلَقْتُ بِأَبِي مَعْبَدٍ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيُبَايِعَهُ عَلَى الْهِجْرَةِ، قَالَ: مَضَتِ الْهِجْرَةُ لأَهْلِهَا، أُبَايِعُهُ عَلَى الإِسْلامِ وَالْجِهَادِ فَلَقِيْتُ أَبَا مَعْبَدٍ، فَسَأَلْتُهُ، فَقَالَ: صَدَقَ مُجَاشِعٌ
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever abandons obedience and separates from the community and then dies, dies a death of Jahiliyyah. Whoever fights under a banner of blind zeal, becoming angry for the sake of tribalism, calling to tribalism, or supporting tribalism, and is killed, is killed in a state of Jahiliyyah. And whoever rebels against my nation, striking the righteous and the wicked alike, not sparing the believer nor fulfilling any covenant, is not of me and I am not of him."
Urdu Translation
ابو عثمان نہدی سے مروی ہے کہ مجاشع بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ میں (اپنے بھائی ابو معبد رضی اللہ عنہ) کو نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی خدمت میں آپ سے ہجرت پر بیعت کرانے کے لیے لے گیا۔ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”ہجرت کا ثواب تو ہجرت کرنے والوں کے ساتھ ختم ہو چکا، البتہ میں اس سے اسلام اور جہاد پر بیعت لیتا ہوں۔“ابو عثمان نے کہا کہ پھر میں نے ابو معبد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مل کر ان سے اس کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ مجاشع رضی اللہ عنہ نے ٹھیک بیان کیا۔[اللؤلؤ والمرجان/كتاب الإمارة/حدیث: 1218]
