Arabic (Original)
عَنْيَحْيَى بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُأَبِي، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُأَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِذَا أَحَبَّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَعْلَمَ قَدْرَ نِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ تَحْتَهُ، وَلا يَنْظُرْ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ فَوْقَهُ".
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) who said: "Allah the Almighty said: 'Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.' And he said: 'The Hand of Allah is full, overflowing, not diminished by anything spent, day and night.' And he said: 'Have you seen what He has spent since He created the heavens and the earth? Indeed, it has not diminished what is in His Hand.'"
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو فرماتے ہوئے سنا:”اگر تم میں سے کوئی ایک اپنے اوپر اللہ کی نعمت کی قدر معلوم کرنا چاہے تو اس کی طرف دیکھے جو اس سے نیچے ہے اور اس کی طرف نہ دیکھے جو اس سے اوپر ہے۔“[مسند عبدالله بن مبارك/حدیث: 90]
