Arabic (Original)
وَقَالَ ابْنُ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ:((لَوْ أَنَّ النَّاسَ تَابَعُونِي إِلَّا رَجُلٌ لَمْ يُسَدَّدْ سُلْطَانِي إِلَّا بِهِ مَا قَتَلْتُهُ))
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The most helpless of people is the one who is unable to supplicate, and the most miserly of people is the one who is miserly with the greeting of peace."
Urdu Translation
اور ابن حنیفہ رحمہ اللہ نے کہا کہ اگر بے شک سب لوگ میری بیعت کر لیں، سوائے ایک آدمی کے، میری سلطنت اس کے بغیر درست نہ ہوتی ہو تو میں اس (بیعت) کو قبول نہ کروں گا۔[مسند عبدالله بن مبارك/حدیث: 273]
