حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ رَافِعٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ الْغَافِقِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَمِّي، إِيَاسَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيَّ، يَقُولُ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ {فَسَبِّحْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الْعَظِيمِ} قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " اجْعَلُوهَا فِي رُكُوعِكُمْ " . فَلَمَّا نَزَلَتْ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى} قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " اجْعَلُوهَا فِي سُجُودِكُمْ " .
English Translation
‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir Al-Juhani said:“When the following was revealed: ‘So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great’,[69:52] the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated to us: ‘Say this in your Ruku’.’ And when the following was revealed: ‘Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High.’[87:1] the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated to us: ‘Say this in your prostrations.’”
Urdu Translation
حضرت عقبہ بن عامر جہنی رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ جب آیت کریمہ: «فسبح باسم ربك العظيم» نازل ہوئی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ہم سے فرمایا: اسے اپنے رکوع میں کہا کرو ، پھر جب «سبح اسم ربك الأعلى» نازل ہوئی تو ہم سے فرمایا: اسے اپنے سجدے میں کہا کرو ۱؎۔
