Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ نَهَى عَنِ الشُّرْبِ قَائِمًا .
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) forbade drinking while standing up
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے کھڑے ہو کر پینے سے منع فرمایا۔
