Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، . أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَضَى أَنَّ عَقْلَ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابَيْنِ نِصْفُ عَقْلِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَهُمُ الْيَهُودُ وَالنَّصَارَى .
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat 'Amr (may Allah be well pleased with him) bin Shu'aib, from his grandfather, that :the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) ruled that the blood money for the people of the book is half of that of the blood money for the Muslims, and they are the Jews and Christians
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن حضرت عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فیصلہ فرمایا: دونوں اہل کتاب کی دیت مسلمان کی دیت کے مقابلہ میں آدھی ہے، اور دونوں اہل کتاب سے مراد یہود و نصاریٰ ہیں ۱؎۔
