Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُجَاهِدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْمُزَنِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: مَا صُمْنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ أَكْثَرُ مِمَّا صُمْنَا ثَلاَثِينَ .
English Translation
It is narrated that Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: "(The months in which) We fasted twenty-nine days at the time of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), were more than (the months in which) we fasted thirty days
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے زمانے میں بہ نسبت ۳۰ دن کے زیادہ تر انتیس دن کے روزے رکھے ہیں۔
