Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ نُسَيْرِ بْنِ ذُعْلُوقٍ، قَالَ كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ لاَ تَسُبُّوا أَصْحَابَ مُحَمَّدٍ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَلَمَقَامُ أَحَدِهِمْ سَاعَةً خَيْرٌ مِنْ عَمَلِ أَحَدِكُمْ عُمْرَهُ .
English Translation
It is narrated that Hadrat Nusair bin Dhu'luq (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: "Hadrat Ibn 'Umar used to say: 'Do not revile the Companions of Muhammed, for the stay of anyone of them for a brief period (with the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) is better than all the good deeds that anyone of you does in his lifetime
Urdu Translation
نسیر بن ذعلوق کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما کہتے تھے: اصحاب محمد صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو گالیاں نہ دو، ان کا نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی صحبت میں ایک لمحہ رہنا تمہارے ساری عمر کے عمل سے بہتر ہے ۔
