Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ غُضَيْفِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَضَعَ الْحَقَّ عَلَى لِسَانِ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ بِهِ " .
English Translation
It is narrated that Hadrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: "I heard the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) say: 'Allah has placed the truth on the tongue of 'Umar, and he speaks with that (truth)
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ نے عمر کی زبان پر حق رکھ دیا ہے، وہ حق ہی بولتے ہیں ۔
