Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَاعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، قَالَ: أنايَحْيَى، عَنِابْنِ عَجْلانَ، قَالَ: ثنيسَعِيدٌ، عَنْأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَرَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" ثَلاثَةٌ كُلُّهُمْ حَقٌّ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَوْنُهُ: الْمُجَاهِدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، وَالنَّاكِحُ لِيَسْتَعِفَّ، وَالْمُكَاتَبُ الَّذِي يُرِيدُ الأَدَاءَ".
English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There are three whom it is a right upon Allah to help: the one who fights in the cause of Allah, the one who marries seeking chastity, and the mukatab (contracted slave) who intends to pay off his contract."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: تین آدمیوں کی مدد کرنا اللہ تعالیٰ پر لازم ہے:(1)اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کرنے والا(2)پاکدامنی کے لیے نکاح کرنے والا(3)مکاتب (غلام) جو (کتابت کی رقم ادا کرنا چاہتا ہو۔[المنتقى ابن الجارود/كتاب الطلاق/حدیث: 979]
