حَدَّثَنَاعَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، قَالَ: أناإِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُلَيَّةَ، عَنْأَيُّوبَ، عَنْأَبِي قِلابَةَ، عَنْأَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْعِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍرَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّ رَجُلا أَعْتَقَ سِتَّةَ مَمْلُوكِينَ لَهُ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرُهُمْ، فَدَعَاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَفَجَزَّأَهُمْ أَثْلاثًا، ثُمَّ أَقْرَعَ بَيْنَهُمْ، فَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ، وَأَرَقَّ أَرْبَعَةً، قَالَ: وَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَوْلا شَدِيدًا".
English Translation
Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that a man freed six slaves of his at the time of his death, and he had no other property besides them. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) called them, divided them into three groups, then drew lots between them. He freed two and kept four as slaves. And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) spoke severely about that man.

سیدنا عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی نے فوت ہوتے وقت اپنے چھ غلام آزاد کر دیے، جب کہ اس کے پاس ان کے علاوہ کوئی مال ہی نہیں تھا، رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے انہیں بلا کر تین حصوں میں تقسیم کیا، پھر ان کے مابین قرعہ ڈال کر دو کو آزاد کر دیا اور چار کو غلام بنا دیا اور اس آدمی کے متعلق رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے سخت الفاظ استعمال کیے۔[المنتقى ابن الجارود/كتاب الطلاق/حدیث: 948]
