حَدَّثَنَامُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: ثَنَاعُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: ثَنَايُونُسُ، عَنِالزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْعُرْوَةَ،وَعُمْرَةَ، عَنْعَائِشَةَرَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ:" إِنْ كُنْتُ لآتِي الْبَيْتَ وَفِيهِ الْمَرِيضُ، فَمَا أَسْأَلُ عَنْهُ إِلا وَأَنَا مَارَّةٌ وَهِيَ مُعْتَكِفَةٌ، وَإِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَلِيُدْخِلُ عَلَيَّ رَأْسَهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَأُرَجِّلُهُ وَهُوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ، وَكَانَ لا يَأْتِي الْبَيْتَ لِحَاجَةٍ إِلا إِذَا أَرَادَ الْوُضُوءَ وَهُوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ".
English Translation
Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated: While I was in i'tikaf, I would enter the house where a sick person was, and I would only ask about him while passing by. And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would put his head into my room while he was in the mosque, and I would comb his hair while he was in i'tikaf. He would not enter the house for any need except when he needed to perform ablution, while he was in i'tikaf.
Urdu Translation
سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ اعتکاف کی حالت میں وہ مریض کے گھر کے پاس سے گزرتیں، تو چلتے چلتے ان کا حال پوچھتیں۔ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماعتکاف کی حالت میں مسجد سے اپنا سر میرے پاس نکالتے تو میں آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے بالوں میں کنگھی کر دیتی، نیز آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماعتکاف کی حالت میں صرف وضو کرنے کے لیے گھر تشریف لاتے تھے۔[المنتقى ابن الجارود/كتاب الصيام/حدیث: 409]
