حَدَّثَنَامُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: ثَنَاعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَنَامَعْمَرٌ، عَنِالزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْسَالِمٍ، عَنِابْنِ عُمَرَرَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ:" صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلاةَ الْخَوْفِ بِإِحْدَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ رَكْعَةً، وَالطَّائِفَةُ الأُخْرَى مُوَاجِهَةٌ الْعَدُوَّ، ثُمَّ انْصَرَفُوا وَقَامُوا فِي مَقَامِ أَصْحَابِهِمْ مُقْبِلِينَ عَلَى الْعَدُوِّ وَجَاءَ أُولَئِكَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ قَضَى هَؤُلاءِ رَكْعَةً وَهَؤُلاءِ رَكْعَةً".
English Translation
Narrated Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed the Fear Prayer, leading one of the two groups in one rak'ah while the other group faced the enemy. Then they withdrew and stood in the place of their companions, facing the enemy, and the others came and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led them in one rak'ah. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave the Salam, and each group then made up one rak'ah on their own.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبد اللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ایک گروہ کو ایک رکعت نماز خوف پڑھائی، جب کہ دوسرا گروہ دشمن کے مد مقابل تھا، پھر پہلے والے جا کر اپنے ساتھیوں کی جگہ دشمن کے مد مقابل کھڑے ہو گئے اور وہ (نماز کے لیے) آ گئے، تو نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے انہیں بھی ایک رکعت پڑھائی، پھر نبیصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے سلام پھیر دیا اور دونوں گروہوں نے (باقی) ایک ایک رکعت پوری کر لی۔[المنتقى ابن الجارود/كتاب الصلاة/حدیث: 233]
