Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَاعَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، قَالَ: أَنَاابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِالزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْسَعِيدٍ، عَنْأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَرَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" إِذَا أَمَّنَ الْقَارِئُ فَأَمِّنُوا، فَإِنَّ الْمَلائِكَةَ تُؤَمِّنُ، فَمَنْ وَافَقَ تَأْمِينُهُ تَأْمِينَ الْمَلائِكَةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ".
English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When the Imam says 'Amin,' say 'Amin,' for the angels also say 'Amin.' Whoever's 'Amin' coincides with the 'Amin' of the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: جب قاری (امام) آمین کہے، تو آپ بھی آمین کہیں، کیوں کہ فرشتے بھی آمین کہتے ہیں۔ جس کی آمین فرشتوں کی آمین سے مل گئی، اس کے پہلے سارے گناہ معاف کر دیے جائیں گے۔[المنتقى ابن الجارود/كتاب الصلاة/حدیث: 190]
