أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ * عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَتِ السَّنَةُ بِأَنْ لَا تُمْطَرُوا وَلَكِنِ السَّنَةُ أَنْ تُمْطَرُوا وَأَنْ تُمْطَرُوا وَلَا تُنْبِتُ الْأَرْضُ شَيْئًا»
English Translation
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, the world compared to the Hereafter is nothing but as if one of you were to put his finger in the sea - let him see what it brings back.'
