أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ عَلَى أَحْيَانِهِ»
English Translation
Ahmad bin Ali bin al-Muthanna narrated to us, Yahya bin Sa'id al-Qattan narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, he said: I heard Qatadah narrating from Anas who said: I have not prayed behind anyone briefer or more perfect in prayer than the Prophet (ﷺ). And when the Prophet (ﷺ) heard a child crying, he would shorten the prayer.
