أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي وَفِي صَدْرِهِ أَزِيزٌ كَأَزِيزِ الْمِرْجَلِ مِنَ الْبُكَاءِ
English Translation
Abu Ya'la narrated to us, Abu Khaythamah narrated to us, Jarir narrated to us from Mansur from Hilal bin Yasaf from Rib'i bin Hirash from Hudhayfah who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'By Him in Whose hand is my soul, you must enjoin good and forbid evil, or else Allah will soon send upon you a punishment from Him, then you will supplicate to Him, but He will not answer you.'
